TipMose’s Spring Cleaning Concludes…
• Safety First- Change the batteries in your smoke detectors (do this twice a year). Make sure you know how to use a fire extinguisher and review fire escape plans. Update your first aid kit with ointments, band-aids, and bandages.
• Bedroom Love- Turn over your mattress so that you can distribute the wear evenly on both sides. Wash blankets and linens, and replace winter bedding with lighter, warm weather bedding. Clean your pillows. Most pillows are machine washable and this will allow you to rid them of mold, bacteria, and odors.
• Kitchen Aid- Go through your refrigerator, freezer, and cabinets and discard expired foods and products. Organize pots and pans, dishes, utensils, and Tupperware so that your kitchen is more user friendly. Scrub stovetops and the inside of your oven.
